Privacy policy
Themeremedy, operated by Ninefold Software. Last updated 27 July 2026.
What we access
- Your theme's source files. We read the Liquid, HTML and CSS of your published theme in order to find accessibility problems and work out how to fix them.
- Product images and their alt text. Used only to report which images lack a text alternative.
- An access token issued by Shopify when you install, so the app can call the Shopify API on your behalf.
What we do not access
We request no access to customer records, orders, payment details or personal information, and we hold none. Our app's permissions do not include them, so this is enforced by Shopify rather than being a promise you have to take on trust.
What we store
- Your store's domain and Shopify access token.
- Your subscription status.
Theme source is read, analysed in memory, and discarded once the report is produced. We do not keep copies of your theme files.
Where it is stored
On Cloudflare infrastructure, encrypted in transit. Access tokens expire after 60 minutes and are refreshed automatically.
Who we share it with
Nobody. We do not sell, rent or share your data, and we do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers in the app.
Deleting your data
Uninstalling the app deletes your stored token and subscription record automatically. You can also email us to request deletion at any time.
Changes to your theme
Themeremedy does not modify your store. It shows you the exact code to change, and you apply it yourself in Shopify's theme editor. The app adds nothing to your storefront and runs no script on it.
