Accessibility statement

We sell an accessibility product, so this page is held to the standard we describe everywhere else on the site: specific, and honest about what is not done.

What this site aims for

WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This site is plain server-rendered HTML with no client-side JavaScript at all, which removes most of the ways a page becomes inaccessible in the first place.

Specifically

• Every page works with JavaScript disabled, because there is none to disable.
• A skip link is the first focusable element on every page.
• Headings are in order and describe the content beneath them.
• Focus is always visible, with a 3px outline that does not rely on colour alone.
• Every image has alternative text; decorative images are marked as decorative.
• Text meets AA contrast in both light and dark mode.
• The layout reflows to 320px without horizontal scrolling; wide tables scroll within their own container rather than forcing the page sideways.
• Motion is suppressed for anyone who has asked their system to reduce it.

What we know is imperfect

• The short demo recording on the "See it work" page is a silent GIF, so it has descriptive alternative text but no captions or audio description. A captioned video is the fix and it is not built yet.
• The site is English only.
• We have tested with automated tooling and with a keyboard. We have not yet had this site tested by a screen-reader user, which is the test that actually counts. That is a gap, not a claim of completeness.

Reporting a problem

If any part of this site is difficult to use, email support@themeremedy.com and tell us the page and what went wrong. We will fix it and say when we did.

This applies to the app as well as the site. An accessibility tool that is itself inaccessible is not worth paying for.
